Three Weeks Ago, Black Trans Person Kenji Spurgeon, 23, Was Shot to Death in Seattle — Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents

Kenji Spurgeon, a Black trans person, was 23 years old. They died in Seattle earlier this month under murky circumstances.

Spurgeon, 23, was killed shortly before 12:30 a.m.on July 1 along 10th Avenue, south of Cal Anderson Park. Few details have been released about what happened.Seattle Police spokesperson Eric Muñoz said homicide detectives are investigating theshooting and do not believe it was targeted.
There have been no arrests announced in the case. But Homicide is involved and they said is was a shooting death.
