Top 30 Most Frequently Read LGBTQ Blog Posts in 2022

Always a sobering post, I’m not the least bit shocked that only seven of these 30 posts are NOT about violence targeting the trans community — the rest are memorial posts and reporting on anti-trans campaigns.

Our Q&A with Pennsylvania’s Second Lady, Gisele Fetterman (3), is unsurprisingly popular. Also our Q&A with her husband Senator-Elect John Fetterman didn’t come anywhere close to receiving top views — LOL. I’m sure Senator-Elect wouldn’t be surprised by that either.

An AMPLIFY Q&A from a bisexual woman from 2017 continues to rank high. I cannot figure out where it is being shared, but it has an impressive evergreen factor (10). There’s my post about the time my wife and I boarded an Erie Dinner Cruise to celebrate our anniversary and no one clapped for us when it was announced (19). The statement from former-Editor-in-Chief of the Pittsburgh City Paper about her decision to resign suddenly has been well-read (20.)

There’s a meme that draws a lot of people (26). And a post from 2014 (!) about Alex Libby from the movie Bully (27).

And finally the post I wrote in 2019 about the Immaculate Reception gained a lot of readers since Franco Harris’ death on December 20, 2022 (16).

But otherwise, this list is a litany and testament to the anti-trans violence that has amassed in our nation. It is always sobering, but not this overwhelming. I mean, even among the posts not about anti-trans violence, there is still one about…
